The day of the royal couple's wedding will be a public holiday in Jordan, the event will be attended by big names from around the world and there will also be a free concert by Arab singers in the capital.


Jordan's Crown Prince Hussain said in response to a question asked at an event recently that the story of his acquaintance with Rajwa Al-Saif was no different from other love stories and that behind their acquaintance was a common friend. There was a hand.

Who is Crown Prince Hussain bin Abdullah?


Prince Hussain was born on June 28, 1994, in Amman, the capital of Jordan. He is the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania. He has one brother, Prince Hashim, and two sisters, Iman and Salma.


Prince Hussain completed his primary education at King's Academy in Jordan in 2012, after which he received his degree in international history from Georgetown University in the United States in 2016.


In 2017, he graduated from the Royal Military Academy, the same academy from which his father King Abdullah II, and his grandfather King Hussein bin Talal graduated. And now he holds the rank of captain in the Jordanian armed forces.


Prince Hussain was named Crown Prince on 2 July 2009.


During the past few years, Prince Hussain has been traveling with his father in Jordan and abroad. The fact is that he was seen with his father in many official and military functions from a young age.



According to Jordan's constitution, the crown prince's mandate is not tied to a political role. After being named crown prince in 2009, Prince Hussein made his first official public appearance in June 2010 when he represented his father at events in Jordan marking the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt and the armed forces.

On 22 September 2017, Prince Hussein chaired a meeting of the United Nations Security Council at the age of 20, becoming the youngest person ever to chair a Security Council meeting.


In 2015, Prince Hussain founded the Crown Prince Foundation through which he initiated many initiatives. Its aim was to provide support for the development of Jordanian youth in information technology, tourism, and other important sectors.


The foundation's most prominent initiative was to provide Jordanian youth with rare training opportunities at the American space agency NASA. As a result of this training and support, Jordan launched its first satellite (JY1-SAT) into space in 2018.

Rajawa was born on 28 April 1994 in Riyadh and is the youngest of four siblings. After receiving his primary education in Saudi Arabia, he graduated from the College of Architecture of Syracuse University in New York, USA.


During his studies, Rajawah took a nine-day visit to Dubai in 2016 and told his university's website that the visit was "memorable for me because the students witnessed Arab culture and architecture for the first time."


He further said that 'Dubai is a very attractive city with modern architecture but the traditional beauty of Arab culture and history has been preserved.'


Before their engagement, Prince Hussain's younger sister, Princess Iman bint Abdullah, was engaged to Jameel Alexander Thermoutis in July last year.


Rajoah also holds a degree in visual communication from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.


He worked with an architecture firm in Los Angeles and later associated with a design studio in Riyadh.

After the wedding ceremony, the convoy will proceed from Zahran Palace to Al-Husseinia Palace, where a reception and dinner will be held on the occasion.


According to Jordanian media, some Arab singers will hold a free concert in Ammam on this day and free transport service will be run to attend some events. While ceremonies will be held in all provinces.


A public holiday has been declared in all government departments on this day. According to Jordan's official news agency Patra, on May 31, a day before the wedding, all ministries and departments will work until 1:00 p.m.


According to Patra, reports are circulating in the foreign media that some ceremonies are being held on the island of Sardinia in Italy, which is false because all the ceremonies will be held in Oman.


Leaders, heads of state, and personalities from the Arab and international world are expected to attend the wedding of the royal couple of Jordan. Members of the royal families of Denmark and Sweden are likely to attend the event.
