The New World Order? |
At a time when the world is going round and round and round at a time when the world is turning upside down when they are turning into being when miracles are happening, we are busy playing the game of death in the traveling circle of the well of death. We are in the sea and fighting the shore, standing on the Himalayas and quarreling with the sky, opposed to the rise of the waves, critical of the rustling of the winds, unhappy with the vastness of the skies. Neither willing to change themselves, nor dedicated to finding a destination.
A lot is changing around us. Is the world moving towards a new world order or are some locks opening in the box of possibility?
This past week has happened that was neither expected nor possible. The fact is that the two countries whose 'kitty' was famous in the world and who did not even care to see each other are now reestablishing relations, i.e. Iran and Saudi Arabia have restored diplomatic relations that have been broken for years. And the story the smiling Chinese diplomats are telling them is both interesting and strange to the world. More importantly than how China did it, why did China do it?
At a time when a crisis was knocking on the door of the region and many commentators were predicting that a war between Israel and Iran could break out at any moment, it was precisely at this moment that China opened the doors of the two countries. The foundation of such an agreement was laid between them, on which the United Nations has its thumbs today.
China relies on both countries for energy, while Saudi Arabia also knows that it now has to rely on the region instead of the United States. In the new economic system, increased trade with Russia is also extremely important for Saudi Arabia, while China could provide a natural alliance.
The speed with which Saudi Arabia is grasping the realities on the ground is rare. On the other hand, Iran wants to end global and economic isolation, so this whole story is about the economy around which the world system revolves.
China is currently a power that can change the system, a power that can make the impossible possible, and is on the launching pad to launch the 'New World Order, New World Order', and the New World Order is in the air. Shout out. Now let's see where we stand.
Come to the dear country, we are currently suffering from a political, economic, and social crisis. This fight is at its peak and it looks like the conflict will only escalate until things start to get worse.
China has recently held Pakistan's hand in bad times, at a time when the IMF was twisting our arm, China stepped in and the same has happened with Sri Lanka. After the CPEC standoff, Pakistan has been largely under American influence, but the events of the past year have once again started linking Pakistan-China relations as 'necessity is the mother of invention'.
Pakistan needs to take some important steps to build confidence in the region which is lacking. For this confidence building, Pakistan will have to correct the 'mistakes' of the past, and restore confidence. The recent 100 MW power deal between Pakistan and Iran for Gwadar and the final stages of oil negotiations with Russia cannot be ignored.
Pakistan's importance and needs in the region call for a renewed strategic relationship with China, which Pakistan has to fulfill on several fronts. Important decisions between the 'demands' of the two world powers are also not out of the question. Effective relations with China in the current situation are possible only when the political crisis is over, but the requirements of political stability are different.
Amidst the political tug-of-war of elections, the constitution is practically inactive while democracy seems to be becoming obsolete globally. Where will we and our democratic system stand in a possible new world order?
