Pakistan's A cricket team won the title by defeating India by 128 runs in the final of the Emerging Asia Cup thanks to its excellent performance.

In the final match played in Colombo, Sri Lanka, India A team captain Yash Dhol won the toss and decided to bowl first which proved to be wrong for him.

India won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first and Pakistan scored 352 runs for eight wickets in the allotted overs, giving India A a target of 353 runs to win.

Chasing the target, the Indian openers confidently started the innings but Pakistan soon managed to seal the first victory and India's first wicket fell for 64 runs.

The attacking style of the Pakistani bowlers did not allow the Indian batsmen to freeze on the wicket and the entire Indian team was bundled out for 224 runs.

Chasing the target, the Indian openers opened the innings and scored 64 runs for the first wicket, but Sai Sudharshan conceded the wicket to Arshad Iqbal after scoring 29 runs.

Shortly after that, Nikon Jose's innings of 11 runs came to an end at the hands of Muhammad Wasim Jr.

Abhishek was joined at this stage by skipper Yash Dhol and the duo put on a responsible 52 for the third wicket but before the partnership could spell trouble for Pakistan, Sufyan Muqim walked Abhishek who played an aggressive innings of 61 runs.

The total score of the Indian team had reached 157 when Nishant Sindhu also got out after scoring 10 runs. Soon after this, Indian A team captain Yash Dhol also gave the wicket to Sufyan after scoring only 39 runs.

After that, Pakistani bowler Mehran Mumtaz took the wickets of wicketkeeper Dhruv Jowell and Ryan Prag, while Sufyan Muqim dismissed Harshat Rana to give Pakistan their eighth wicket.

Rajvardhan also got bowled by Arshad Iqbal after scoring only 11 runs.

Sufian Muqim was the most successful bowler for Pakistan while Muhammad Wasim Jr., Arshad Iqbal, and Mehran Mumtaz took two wickets each.

At this point, it seemed as if Pakistan's innings would end soon, but at that time, Pakistani batsman Tayyab Tahir faced the Indian bowlers aggressively on the wicket.

He also scored a fine century along with a brilliant 126-run partnership for the sixth wicket with young player Mubaser Khan.

He returned to the pavilion after scoring 108 runs off 71 balls with 12 fours and four sixes.

In the final overs of the match, Muhammad Wasim Jr. adopted some aggressive style and the Pakistan A team managed to post a total score of 352 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted overs.
